Learningtyme believes a child’s education is more successful when the child’s learning styles are understood and utilized. What are learning styles? Simply put, learning styles are the way that your child learns; a style is his/her way of learning. Styles may be auditory, visual, kinesthetic, active, reflective, and so on. Children have more than one preferred style of learning and need a variety of ways to learn. Usually the classroom offers one or two styles of learning which is limiting your child’s full potential.
At Learningtyme, we provide an initial assessment in determining your child’s style of learning. This is very important in instructing your child and will result in higher motivation, excitement, and engagement in the learning process. Your child wants to learn; however, most children are not given the opportunity to learn the way they learn best.
